Garden Eats


Garden Eats is founded by two friends which, Md Khairur Ridhwan and Md Azmi Waliyuddin. The origins for Gardens Eats is that they started selling at Gerai Jangsak back in late 2019. After gaining popularity, they opened up at their house located at No 8 Spg 42 Jln Kilanas Kg Kilanas Ban6 in January 2020. The reason for their name is self-explanatory, the front of their house has a spacious and serene garden which they use for their customers to eat their burgers, hence Garden eats.


Home made burgers have lately risen in popularity in Brunei as opposed to the mass produced burger patties that many usually eat. People desire more in their burgers thus several businesses opened up to cater the demand. With 2 plus years of selling burgers, they have participated in the various food festivals in Brunei notably Airport Mall Food Festival 2021, UNISSA Convocation of 2021, Gerai Ramadhan Kampong Bunut 2021 and also several live cooking this year and other events 

Though their main selling point is their home made burgers, they do offer other items they made such as fried chicken burgers, roti johns, fish burgers, wraps and just recently they started selling their extra crispy and juicy fried chicken. 







Business during COVID-19 was rough to Garden Eat at first but they quickly changed their policy as provided by the Ministry of Health standards of operation. During lockdown they have managed to hang on by only providing pick ups and deliveries.

Currently there are two branches of Gardens Eats, one at the home base Kilanas and another one at Bunut which opened recently by the co-founder of Garden Eats, Md Azmi Waliyuddin. Program Curahan Ilmu (2021)

Students of 2021 Program Curahan Ilmu started in 2018 as an initiative to better improve the grades of year 6 students who are about to sit for their Periksa Sekolah Rendah.  Created by The Biro Kemasyarakatan, RPN Mengkubau village community and the company Teachmeguru(until 2020), this education program aims to helps children from financially vulnerable families from various villages throughout Brunei-Muara district. Back then the teachings were held at the community hall at Kampong Mentiri but now it has moved to a school. These children are educated every Friday and Sunday afternoon at a school located in Kampong Mentiri which is Sekolah Rendah Dato Mohd Yassin. The tutors are volunteers who are looking to increase their skills in teaching whilst some of them are regular employees, what matters is that the program does not discriminate who joins so long as they can teach and are dedicated to teaching.
