Cup cake cravers of Brunei, are you looking for a place that doesn't sell the same thing everyday? Then look no further as Cake Baby! delivers just that. With different flavors every week, you mouth wont get tired instead it will be craving for more.


Its humble origins is that her grandmother taught her everything about the basics of baking when she was 7 years old. Watching her grandmother baked aspired her to try baking herself, learning how to hold a whisk properly, the ingredient needed and what it is supposed to taste like when it is finished. Another person who also greatly influences her to become a baker is her grandmother's cook/baker, Velma, who she considers as her mentor and a superb baker. 

Cake Baby started this year, the reason is all to common for many which is the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in many people losing their jobs. What drove her to start making a cup cake business is when she observe her friends and family who also lost their jobs started making a business. 






While her specialty is only cup cakes for now, she plans to add more soon and she even dreams of opening her own bakery someday in the future. To those interested in her cupcakes, you can check ke Instagram at @_itscakebaby.bn.

Mirza's Churros is a Brunei original. Started out in 2014, they began selling at Pasar Malam Gadong and have moved up their operation to various degrees, taking orders online and doing live cooking for events  Their main selling point is Churros now but they once sold Apam Balik, Ice Cream and drinks. Their churros have three variations to them which are the regular churros, slim churros and churro bites. "Memupuk jati diri dengan mempelajari dialek kitani" Lingualist.bn motto   Lingualist.bn is founded by 7 students studying for their masters at University Brunei Darussalam this August.
