Koleksyen82 is a new business started due to the impact of COVID-19. A barber located in Rimba by the name of BarberStreet82, his business suffered greatly when new clusters appeared and a lockdown was issued nationwide. Nurul Huda assisted by her husband Abdul Wafi decided to start another business to ensure that his family is financially secured.
They observed how thrifting was a popular trend ongoing in Brunei and thus decided to delved into it. Originally have a desired to start his business however unable due to his commitments as a barber, the COVD-19 lockdown gave him the opportunity in August this year.
Using the money obtained for his barber business, Abdul Wafi and his wife started their thrifting business mainly online through Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. A team business where Wafi in charged of the marketing aspect and Nurul Huda handles on how to make the videos and pictures more representable through editing.
Abdul Wafi is currently preparing and teaching his wife, Nurul Huda on how to managed Kolesyen82 for when the lockdowns ends as he will have to resume his barber business., the main source of his income.
