Santai-Santai Shooting Kafe & Grill

Santai-Santai Shooting Kafe & Grill is located at RPN Kg. Mengkubau. Started in 2000, their café which is at their house is theme like a movie set due to the owner, Roslee Bin Haji Metali, being in Brunei's film industry. He decide to decorate his café surrounded with film memorabilia to make his customers feel like they are on a film set ready to be taken. 





Their signature dish is their Nasi Bungkus SuratKhabar, Nasi Katok that is wrapped in old Newspapers before it is cleaned throughly. Their sambal selection is either regular, spicy or Sambal Penyet. 

They do offer a number of dishes, among them are Mee Goreng with Ayam Penyet, Mee Basah Ayam, Mee Basah Thaithong Seafood, Mee Basah Kuetiaw Kungfu, Nasi Goreng Hati buyah, Nasi Goreng Cornbeef Ayam Penyet, Soto, French Fries and grilled chickens.




Aside from doing his business at home, they do offer catering and live cooking but that has been halted due to the pandemic, a notice will come when live cooking can happen again. They have recently open a new branch at Kg. Madang, Manggis.

Started out in 2014, they began selling at Pasar Malam Gadong and have moved up their operation to various degrees, taking orders online and doing live cooking for events  Their main selling point is Churros now but they once sold Apam Balik, Ice Cream and drinks.
